We are approx 15 miles from the M6 and only 8 miles from Bowness and Winderemere and set in the old, but stunning & beautiful Bigland Hall Estate.
Leave M6 at junction 36. Take exit on roundabout sign-posted Barrow, Lakes A590.
Head West on A590 to Newby Bridge and Barrow
At Newby Bridge look for a Texaco garage on left. Ahead is a roundabout. Keep left at roundabout, 1st exit. Newby Bridge Hotel is on left & Swan Hotel on right.
Follow round bend onto short dual carriageway. After dual carriageway, look on left for large brown tourist Information sign for Bigland Hall.
Take. 1st left up High Brow Rd and follow road all way up the Fell to a T Junction.
At T junction the entrance to Bigland Hall is in front of you. Turn left and follow the road up and over the crest. We are the 1st left and over the cattle grid.
